Q: Why doesn’t your single speed frames have horizontal dropouts?
A: We use an eccentric bottom bracket to achieve chain tension. The ebb prevents wheel slippage, allows easy flat changes, and simple wheel removal when using fenders.

Q: Where are your frames made?
A: The Tweed, and limited frames are made in Taiwan, and our custom frames are made in Canada.

Q: Can I get a custom paint job on one of the stock ltd, or Tweed frames?
A: In general this a hard request to fulfill, all the stock frames are pre-painted, and would have to be stripped and repainted. We can do this but be prepared for a hefty up-charge.

Q: Can I buy direct from you?
A: In Canada we have established a network of retailers to better serve you the customer. If there is no dealer within your general area you can contact us and we can arrange to ship a bikes and/or parts to you at advertised MSRP.

Q: What about international shipping?
A: If you live outside of Canada and are interested in one of our products please send us an email thom[at}steelwoolbicycles.ca with your request, plus your shipping address. We will respond with a shipping cost.
